I had the opportunity to operate camera on several seasons of Life Below Zero, Life Below Zero: The Next Generation and First Alaskans for National Geographic. This reality documentary series follows rugged individuals living subsistence lifestyles in remote, harsh areas of Alaska. This required our camera crew to prepare for extreme weather and be highly organized with our gear. We filmed from snow machines, boats and bush planes and I was often on the long-lens duty capturing wildlife and macro insert shots, requiring advanced technical skills and precision in operating.
